Many people are asking us what the history of inSpiral is and when they find out that we merely opened our doors in December 2007 they are startled and surprised. It's good to feel the progress we have made already - so let's give you a little introduction!

Our background very much lies in alternative party culture and the UK festival scene. Born out of the ashes of the now legendary Warp Experience event in South London yet another organization was founded - IDSpiral - our predecessor organization. IDSpiral focused on festival chill out environments, saturated with video installations, deco art work and wild and wonderful structures. IDSpiral was very much about creating safe havens away from the madness of festival hecticness where one could unwind, recharge, feel inspired and nurtured.

In order to achieve that we provided a large scale vegetarian organic cafe with every setup that soon became hugely popular. We also made sure that our spaces were not just about music but about poetry, films, performances and much more.

At the same time we also became involved in another organization - the Synergy Project - again a hugely successful event in London this time, curated as a fusion between club culture and those working in the charity or NGO sector! Utilzing the power of celebration and creativity has ever since become a strong point for us.

Having benefitted from these experiences we decided in 2007 that it was time for us to take our concept out into the world and we are since then developping the inSpiral organization.
